SENIOR MANAGER / PRINCIPAL, INTERNATIONAL TAX

Job Description

This position will head the International Tax team, necessitating advanced knowledge, technical skills, and the ability to coach and lead staff. This is a Partner Track position with a comprehensive bonus and benefits package, flexible work arrangements, and unlimited potential in an atmosphere of collaboration.

  • Review federal and multi-state returns and projections for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates; use knowledge of FBAR and foreign reporting forms to ensure compliance
  • Ensure the proper identification and resolution of complex tax issues through self-directed and firm-sponsored training; communicate findings to colleagues
  • Lead teams, provide feedback, and mentor individuals in order to ensure excellent work product
  • Mentor staff in all facets of work, including workflow and project management
  • Communicate status to partners and maintain positive relationships with client
  • Ensure utmost client trust in team
  • Advise client on tax planning and income tax issues; recognize, evaluate, and communicate potential risks in a strategic fashion

Requirements:

  • Active CPA license required, Masters of Taxation preferred
  • 8+ years recent experience with a CPA firm
  • Expertise in tax & withholding reporting for international operations and expansions, foreign bank account reporting and FATCA, and inbound/outbound tax planning, including foreign tax credits, cash repatriation, subpart F, and PFICs
  • Experience with CCH Axcess/Tax a plus

TAX MANAGER

Job Description

We have an opening for a qualified, exceptional Tax Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity in a growing firm for the right individual interested in advancing to Partner. Key responsibilities include:

TAX SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Job Description

The Tax Senior is responsible for the preparation of a full range of tax services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the tax managers and partners to plan and manage multiple client engagements while understanding clients’ goals and needs
  • Preparing complex income tax returns including Corporate, S-Corp., partnership, and individual clients
  • Maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, make sure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively
  • Ensuring quality of work product and communicating progress to managers and partners
  • Assisting, supervising and mentoring junior team members

Qualifications & Required Experience

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Business with a strong emphasis in accounting
  • 3+ years recent experience with a CPA firm
  • Tax preparation experience of privately held companies and high net worth individuals
  • Strong communication skills

TAX ASSOCIATE

Job Description

The Tax Associate is responsible for the full scope of tax preparation services for individuals, partnerships and corporations. This position works directly with clients from diverse industries and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

  • Plan, organize, and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Proactively communicate status with clients, managers, and partners
  • Through firm-sponsored and self-directed training, stay current on tax law and other research in order to ensure the proper identification and resolution of complex tax issues
  • Ensure consistent preparation of work papers and projections

HR COORDINATOR / GENERALIST

We have an opening for a qualified and exceptional HR Coordinator / Generalist, reporting to our Operations Manager.

Job Description

  • Review employee timecards to ensure compliance
  • Calculate payroll, including Overtime, Bonus, Commissions, and PTO
  • Enter semi-monthly payroll in ADP Run
  • Create payroll-related QuickBooks journal entries, including 401(k)
  • Scanning and filing of confidential material; maintenance of personnel files
  • Prepare monthly reports for review, such as Employee Hours, Billable Time and Productivity
  • Assist in employee relations and engagement efforts
  • Perform various administrative tasks for Operations Manager and Executives

Requirements

  • Confidentiality and trust
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, esp. Excel
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility to support other teams when needed, e.g. billing and tax assembly teams
  • Professional demeanor
  • Love of learning – keep up with changing HR laws, COVID restrictions, etc
  • Experience in professional services would be helpful
  • Occasional overtime – it will probably be pretty rare, especially in the beginning
